The Magic Es are a Norwich based rock/pop band. The Es have many influences such as The Undertones, The Jam and The Who.
Their first year as a band was busy for the newly formed Rock n Roll band, rehearsing, writing, recording as well as building their own recording studio.
Their debut track 'Melody Jane' has been described as "The Undertones wrestling with The Jam", you can judge for yourself.
Only being a new band, it does not change the face that The Magic Es are a bunch of extremely talented and experienced musicians, from running record labels to playing world tours and having top 40 albums and singles. The band have a long journey ahead, but that is not something they are put off by.
In their relatively short existence they ve achieved radio play, with their Undertones-influenced debut single Melody Jane, across 26 radio stations in the UK, USA and Australia. Rick Witter, of Shed Seven fame, also made it his track of the week on his radio show.
They said "We’ve been working very hard on honing our sound and getting together a set list of original songs that will leave an audience tapping their feet and whistling our tunes on the way home”
Melody Jane is available as a free download from the bands Bandcamp page which you can find at
What RattleMag think: "The Magic Es have came together and combined their years of expertese and experince together to creat a unique indie rock sound. Their songs are cleverly constructed together and catchy guitar parts leave you wanting to listen to more."
