Guy Garvey, Hacienda Classical, Stereophonics, James Bay and Catfish and The Bottlemen have been announced as the headliners for the Castlefield Bowl Festival in Manchester.

Like every year, Castlefield Bowl sees a series of artists headlining the unique Manchester outdoor venue. This year will see 5 of the hottest bands around headlining.

Kicking of the series of gigs will be Elbow frontman Guy Garvey on Friday 01 July. Guy is currently touring his debut solo album Courting The Squall. Castlefield Bowl will be the first of 5 outdoor gigs for Guy Garvey.

The following night (02 July) will see Hacienda Classical - consisting of former Hacienda DJs Mike Pickering and Graeme Park and local orchestra Manchester Camerata.

With a week gap, James Bay will be headlining the 3rd gig (06 July) at Castlefield Bowl as part of the festival. Having just sold out TWO Manchester Apollo gigs, James will be sure to set the Castefield on fire.

Thursday 06th July will see Welsh rockers Stereophonics. Finally, but not least Friday 08th July will see Catfish and The Bottlemen headlining the outdoor stage, which is sure to be one of their best gigs to date, without a doubt.

The festival, previously known as Summer In The City has seen the likes of Noel Gallagher, The Courteeners, Paolo Nutini, James and many more headline the stage which is suspended over a canal.
