FOUR DEAD CROWDS are a four piece Blues/Alt-Rock band formed in the Gloucestershire area. The band consists of members Danny Thistlethwaite (lead guitar, vox), Paul Camps (Rhythm guitar and backing vox), Dan Wolski (Bass) and Rob Keir ( Drums ).
With a heavy rock sound and blues guitar and bass backings, the band have many influences to their sound, ranging from The Black Keys, Jack White, Queens of The Stone Age, MUSE, Royal Blood and music from the 60's onwards.
Only being a band for just over a year and a half, the Blues Rock four piece have been gigging locally and pubs, open mic nights and local music festivals. The band won a spot on the Underground Music Festival which showcases national up and coming bands.
2015 saw the band recording their debut EP 'Money Beats Soul' with George Shilling at his studio Bank Cottage Studio over a four day period. Shilling has mixed and mastered many artists including Oasis, Blur, Billy Bragg and more.
The band said on their future... "Our plans for the immediate future are to promote this EP by gigging in the local area and hopefully branching out into a national tour later in the year... We are also recording our first music video for our song Destitute Blues which will be released early next year."
What RattleMag think: "Four Dead Crows combine blues and alt rock perfectly together to create heavy riffage and dirty vocals that sound beautiful when combined. They seem to be a band of four who love music and have a passion for what they do. 2016 should be an exciting year for them."
RattleRating: 10/10.
