Having not really followed Therapy? closely over the years, 'Nowhere' is the only song that I could remember of theirs from growing up in the 90’s. I saw them supporting The Wildhearts around 2014 and recall being pretty impressed with them. So when the opportunity came to see them do a headline show it was snapped up.
For this tour they were supported by The Membranes, a post-punk band from Blackpool who were formed in 1977. The lead singer, John Robb, did remind me a lot of John Lydon with his vocals and he certainly had a stage presence. Their 45 minute set was lengthy for a typical support slot.

Therapy? came on stage at 9.15pm with 2 sets – the first being their Infernal Love album in its entirety. I listened to the album a few times before heading to the show so I was familiar with the songs and have to say that it is one exceptional album live. The second set consisted of songs that simply rocked the crowds socks off! Naturally 'Nowhere' was in there, which I was more than happy with.

Andy Cairns still has an amazing voice and the entire band had the audience in the palms of their hands. It’s safe to say that I’m a truly converted Therapy? fan – a little late to the scene but I got there.
