2000 Trees Festival 2016: Site changes, final bands.

2000 Trees Festival just released some pretty important news you may be interested in if you're attending this year, including... All the changes they're have planned for their 10th Birthday, final band announcement date, Forrest Session stage announcement date.
"Probably the biggest change to the site this year is that we are moving The Croft stage & bar. Instead of them being right up on top of the hill, we’ve decided to move them all the way down into the campsite by the main arena. Mostly this is because it was quite a long walk uphill, but also we don’t want you to miss all the amazing bands (& Thursday comedians) on there – so now there’s no excuse.This way you can watch a band on the main stage, then within 2 minutes walk (via the bar), be sat out in front of our new stage, with a cold pint in your hand all before the next band takes to the stage. Whoop whoop.For music fans (& beer fans) – this should be an amazing development"
- For the 1st time The Axiom will be open on the Thursday. This means we can give you 120+ bands over 3 days, more than ever before. So now 2000trees gives you even more bang for your buck.
- Forest acoustic sets. This year we’ve asked even more of our amazing bands playing elsewhere on the bill to do extra special Forest acoustic sessions. We’re really excited about who we’ve got lined up for these performances & as there is limited capacity in The Forest, these should be amazing & intimate sets not to be missed.
- This year we’ve got even more food traders, including a chicken shack, a risotto stall, a brand new pizza joint, The Cheese Truck & another veggie vegan option to keep you veggie/vegans topped up with vegetables. :) (Separate news post coming soon on all our foodies).
- Fancy dress theme is… “What you wanted to be when you were 10“. This is on the Saturday, with prizes awarded for the best dressed. That said, some bright spark has suggested that it would also be nice to do Friday as, “Wear your old trees merch Friday“. So if you’ve been to 2000trees before & got the Tshirt, bring out your old shirt/ hoody & wear your colours with pride on the Friday.
Next Monday 23/5/16 = Forest acoustic sessions, FINAL bands & FINAL line up poster.
It’s looking like all our tickets will be sold out by mid June so if you want one get on the case asap.
