Green Day to release new single 'Bang Bang'

After going on a short break from music in 2014 and releasing 2012 albums 'Uno, Dos & Tre', the California pop punk band return to the scene next week, releasing a new single called 'Bang Bang'. The announcement was made by Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong on his Instagram account stating "Dear friends! green day is putting out a new single called "BANG BANG" August 11. stay tuned for more details."
The newly voted Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have been dishing out hints off a new album and tour since April when they posted a video of them playing instruments in a studio.
