Peter Hook announced plans to release New Order Biography

The Joy Division / New Order bassist just announced his plans to release a biography documenting his time playing in the Manchester band New Order. On October 6th he will release his third book yet, Substance: Inside New Order which will document the rise of the band and how it lead to him eventually splitting with them.

"We didn’t really think about it afterwards, it just sort of happened. One day we were Joy Division and the next time we got together, we were a new band," are the words Manchester legend Peter Hook had to say on the formation of New Order.

Peter Hook now continues under the name 'Peter Hook And The Light' in which he plays a mix of New Order and Joy Division songs, touring the UK and playing festivals.
