The Maccabees announce break up!

London based Indie Rock band 'The Maccabess' have just announced their break up as a band.

The band shared a photo this morning which had a a letter to their fans, captioning, "A message to our fans…. With Love, The Maccabees x"

Within the bands musical career which started in 2002, they had recorded a total of 4 albums, most recent recording being their summer 2015 release 'Marks To Prove It'. Other recorded releases include 'Given to the Wild' (2012), 'Wall of Arms' (2009) and debut 'Colour It In' (2007).

To settle people's minds, the band mention in their Facebook statement that "There have not been fallings out and we are grateful to say that we are not leaving the group as a dividing force". And also go onto say that they all plan to continue making music beyond The Maccabees.
