Punk rock passion is alive, kicking and leaving bruises in fast Philly rockers, Beach Slang's, new video. Shot in the choppy vintage style that is becoming a distinctive heirloom in the group's official videography, 'Atom Bomb' represents a raw and unapologetic view of love's young fury. The track itself is a strong and punchy introduction to the band's upcoming album, the savvy yet nonetheless angst laden 'A loud bash of teenage feelings', due out September 23rd on Polyvinyl Records. Beach Slang have not long pulled their surf boards out of the swell of success that sparked critical admiration with last year's debut 'The things we do to find people who feel like us', and are already planning on hitting the road for a long while, covering the US and Europe with their latest masterpiece. Beach Slang are slinging sounds from across the rock board, from The Replacements, and Direct Hit! to Jawbreaker and even a hint of The Gaslight Anthem. These guys are a valuable addition to the newcomers circuit and far outweigh many more popular bands in this bracket with talent and understanding of their undertaking. Keep your eyes and itunes tabs open for these boys.
