Stay awesome and check out this punk foursome -

When it comes to punk, there's a boundless emphasis on local scene material, with regards to the lates and the greats,... unlike most other genres, one can not exist without the other.

So it's with a keen ear to the ground here in the city of Oakland, that I am able and honored to introduce a hometown product worthy of turning up WAY past the comfort level. August 27th saw East Bay foursome Falcon A! unleash a trim yet triumphantly chaotic slice of beauty upon the world with the melodic riot aptly named 'So Rad'. For fans of punk that combines hardcore spirit and sound with the more familiarly laid back style associated with the east side of the western bay, you won't be left disappointed or bored by this 8 track whiplash. Thoroughly armed to the teeth with killer guitar and a relentless urge of drumbeat fit to rival the best in punk anthem fame, So Rad! is a weighty addition to the punk rock rota. The album brings a front that could be likened to a better executed Link 80, or even early Rancid, and was recorded in Berkeley at Rehab Recorders. The band regularly play shows around the bay and beyond, and have been featured on B Side's on air, a San Francisco based television and media outlet that covers a full spectrum of alternative and dynamic artists. Recommended highlights include the tracks 'Red Plains' and 'Disasters and Farewells'. The seriously cool artwork for the album and associated merch is certainly a point of impression too.

You can check out the full album on Falcon A!'s bandcamp page below, and please for the love of punk, if you're feeling generous and you like what you hear, hit these hardworking boys a little donation while you're there. https://falcona.bandcamp.com/releases
